Reading Festival

The annual event is a celebration of reading that features a book sale of children's literature, an author who speak to students in each grade level, a book drive, and the opportunity to donate books to the library.

Please continue to check this page for the most up-to-date information on the 2025 Reading Festival! We’ll kick things off with the Book Drive in September.

Book Drive: Spread a Love for Reading

River Oaks Baptist School has selected Books Between Kids as the recipient of our annual Book Drive.

Gently used books are now being collected! You can donate books throughout October at any of the donation boxes spread throughout campus.

Now is the time to weed your home libraries to make room for your new book purchases.

Visiting Author

The ROBS Libraries are proud to host acclaimed author Candace Fleming for 2025 Reading Festival.

Friends of Library Bookplates

Bookplates are dedication labels placed inside the front of new library books. They may be purchased for $25 each to honor someone special to you or the ROBS community. The Friends of the Library Bookplate donations provide additional books to our beloved libraries. There will be a table set up during the book sale where you may select your books in which to add the donation bookplates.
