One of the hardest parts of parenting is letting go. We understand how much faith it takes to entrust your child to someone else’s care. For many Discovery students, ROBS is their first school experience. That means it’s a big “first” for their parents, too. Rest assured, your child will be in excellent hands at ROBS.
During our Discovery year, your child will grow in leaps and bounds. From the moment you drop her off in carpool line, your child will practice doing for herself—hanging up her jacket, putting away materials after a lesson, washing hands before snack. She will experience a monumental growth in vocabulary between ages two and three, so we will read lots of books to foster an early love of language. In circle time and in the sandbox, he will be developing the social and emotional skills it takes to be part of a group, like sharing and taking turns. And as your young child makes wonderful discoveries around our campus, he will be building the independence and confidence to seek out more new adventures.
Just as important, our students spend their days at school with teachers who love them and delight in them. We know that young children learn best through intentional, purposeful play. And we know they learn best from people who love them. Let your child’s joyful educational journey begin here.
