  • The Buzz Magazines: From Houston to Chiba, Japan

    This was something I could not pass up. I opened the application to be a 2018 Houston-Chiba Youth Ambassador and realized this was a life-changing opportunity. I would be in a Japanese community for two weeks, learning about Japan, a modern country deep into its ancient roots, while sharing my own Houstonian culture. The results did not disappoint.

  • ROBS Student Ambassadors Represent Houston Well in Chiba, Japan

    Congratulations to Lily, Camron, Ava, Amy, and Lucy for being selected to represent the City of Houston as Youth Ambassadors to Japan this summer.

    The student exchange program between Houston and its sister city, Chiba, has been taking place for over 35 years. ROBS is honored to serve as the only host school in Houston for this program. 
    Our students and teachers had an extraordinary experience representing the city of Houston as official ambassadors.

  • Checkmate! ROBS Chess Team Takes Top Honors At Weekend Tournament

    ROBS hosted a weekend invitational chess tournament with other area schools. The host team came away with four placement medals!
