Every corner of our campus, both indoors and out, is alive with exuberant learning and spirited collaboration. The nucleus of all this energy is our library. The library is always a hub of activity, before, during, and after school. It beckons our students to come in and read, do research, and work together on assignments and projects.
Four expert librarians manage our extensive collection of books, available in traditional, electronic, and audio formats. We subscribe to online databases that give students and their families 24/7 access to encyclopedias, periodicals, almanacs, and even animated picture books for beginning readers. The library also hosts some of our most popular events, such as Reading Festival, author visits, and special celebrations like Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
And it’s not just our kids having all the fun. Parents are welcome to use and enjoy the library any time. In fact, many parents get their own library number and check out books, videos, and audio books for their families to enjoy at home. Parents also have access to our wide assortment of parenting books.
Our son, a late and reluctant reader, burst into the house one day with a book one of our librarians had saved for him—a novel about fishing. We credit the School's graceful approach to academic achievement with transforming our son into a great reader.
