From First Notes to First Chair

In fifth and sixth grade at River Oaks Baptist School, students participate in a robust elective rotation designed to expose them to a variety of extracurricular activities. Here, students are encouraged to explore new interests, discover their passions, and develop the confidence to pursue them with purpose. For Patrick Guerini ’23, that journey began the first time he picked up a cello in Dr. Ruth’s sixth grade orchestra class.

Digital Media Exploration: A Documentary & Lesson

This trimester, five seventh grade students in Digital Media Exploration came together to produce a documentary exploring the history of the ROBS Athletics program and its connection to faith. The assignment required planning, interviewing, filming, editing, and coordinating as a team. However, the most significant outcome of the project extended far beyond the final film itself.
