United Church Athletic League (UCAL)

The United Church Athletic League (UCAL) provides a Christ-centered environment where students grow in athletics, teamwork, and character.

River Oaks Baptist School and Church are founding members of UCAL and offer youth league sports for PreK through 5th grade students. Teams compete against other area church and school communities, including St. John’s School, Annunciation Orthodox School, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, St. Anne Catholic School, St. Mark’s Episcopal School, The Fay School, West University United Methodist Church, and St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.

ROBS/ROBC League Teams:
Participation is limited to ROBS/ROBC students unless otherwise approved. Each member school or church forms its own teams to compete within the league.

UCAL Academies:
Academies are open to all players in the community, regardless of school or church affiliation.

All teams are parent-led and coached by dedicated volunteers, creating a strong sense of community and involvement.

The registration fee is $250 per player. Academy pricing may vary depending on the program.

Refunds are available until the first practice or up to one week before an academy begins. Early registration is encouraged to avoid missing deadlines.

Locations:
Games are hosted at various campuses, including ROBS/ROBC, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Annunciation Orthodox School, All Saints Anglican Church, St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, and Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

Game Times:

• Weekday games begin at 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday games begin at 8:00 a.m.
• PreK and Kindergarten typically play on Saturday mornings
• 1st–5th grade teams typically play Monday through Friday

• 7-game season (weather permitting)
• Teams are formed by draft or coordinator assignment
• No player or coach requests
