As much as we love to see ROBS students enriching our classrooms every day,
we also love to see them move on to the next level, knowing they are well prepared
to succeed wherever they go.

High School Counseling

Choosing a high school is a big deal in the lives of our students and their parents. Our goal is to enable our students and parents to enter the high school application phase with confidence. A key aspect of this approach involves our counselors playing an active role in walking our parents and students through the entire journey.

We believe in going the extra mile to ensure families feel well-informed, from weekly emails with important reminders and upcoming deadlines to mock admission interviews and individual counseling sessions. The combination of preparation and stellar applicants has resulted in 98% of ROBS students successfully being admitted to their first or second choice school for the past four years.

Administrators from the city’s best public and private high schools tell us that they delight in enrolling ROBS graduates. We are proud of our students for earning such praise, and we are dedicated to supporting our families as they explore their options for high school.

High schools chosen by the Class of 2020 and number of students attending:

I remember that ROBS and its counselors made sure my parents and I were excited about the process rather than nervous or stressed. I think the high school application process was very beneficial for me because I now have so much confidence going into the college application process.”

Always a Raider

Every year when our eighth graders graduate and move on, our relationship with many of them shifts as well. Instead of us supporting their goals and dreams, they begin to support ours.

We are blessed to have over 2,800 alumni who give back to ROBS in a multitude of ways. Many begin supporting us right away when they enter high school. They attend Fall Fair, participate in Alumni Chapel, and like us on social media. More established alums become some of our most dedicated donors and many return as faculty or parents.

Here at ROBS, we don't say goodbye, instead, we say see you later. It is our mission to make sure that every member of our community, young and old, know that they have a home here. They are always welcome to come back. They will always be a Raider.
