River Oaks Baptist School will strengthen its foundation of operational excellence by continuing to attract mission-aligned students, families, staff, and faculty; advancing philanthropy; preserving and developing best-in-class facilities; enhancing operational infrastructure; and nurturing the church-school partnership.

We will continue to:

• Align strategic priorities and the campus master plan with funding opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation across all departments in our organization.
• Create long term financial and philanthropic strategies for sustainability and growth for River Oaks Baptist School. Actively engage alumni with the goal of providing a rewarding and enriching experience that continues long after graduation.
• Strengthen our business continuity plans by reinforcing operational infrastructure to secure the school in all areas (i.e. information technology, emergency management, retention of legal documentation, etc.), and continuously assess and update internal processes and systems as needed.
• Foster the personalized growth and career development of faculty and staff, supporting their contributions toward achieving school-wide objectives and living up to the School’s mission.
• Explore best practices in performance management to enhance faculty and staff growth, ensuring alignment with River Oaks Baptist School’s Christian mission and core values.
• Develop a 5-year staffing plan to meet the needs of our enhanced programming and the anticipated changes in student demographics, learning needs, and educational technology advancements.
• Review and leverage available data regarding Houston’s changing demographics to develop effective long-term marketing practices to attract mission-aligned students, families, faculty, and staff.
• Strengthen the partnership between River Oaks Baptist School and River Oaks Baptist Church.
