As I dropped our son off on his first day of high school, it was a bittersweet feeling as I watched him walk away towards his new school completely self-assured and looking ahead…not looking back towards Mom. I knew that his confidence, preparedness, placement into advanced courses, and subsequent success were due to the strong foundation he had received during his years at R.O.B.S.

There are few things in the lives of children more important than their first experiences at school, particularly because we entrust them to school when they are so very young. Their school memories, both sensory and concrete, are with them for a lifetime and are an integral part of who they become. River Oaks Baptist School, including its faculty, staff, church and school community, is dear to our hearts for the positive and nurturing introduction to formal education it provided for our two daughters and now is providing for our precious grandsons. We support R.O.B.S. with gratitude and joy!
