Special Events
Students at R.O.B.S. work and play with enthusiasm. We embrace the special magic of childhood through events that include family, friends, and fun.
During the week-long
Reading Festival
, the School celebrates books and reading with author visits and book fairs. Well-known authors of children's literature stoke students' interest in writing, illustrating, and publishing books during presentations and classroom workshops.
The Fall Fair and Field Day in the spring are school-wide “fun-raisers” that build community and create lasting memories for our students. On Grandparents and Special Friends Day, we welcome parents, grandparents, and other friends for musical performances and classroom visits.
Whether second-graders are collecting and analyzing data on a fishing trip with dads, or eighth-graders are dressing up and performing for Great Americans Day, we want learning to be a joyful experience for our students.
