The Huffington Library Media Center is the vibrant center of student life at River Oaks Baptist School. It serves students, faculty, staff, and parents.
Students from Preschool through fifth grade come here for weekly library storytime and instruction. All students use the library for their reference, research, and recreational reading needs. and staff use includes curriculum development, professional growth, and personal interests. Parents are encouraged to come by the library any time to check out books for themselves and for their children. The library also maintains a collection of child development and parenting books for parent use, located in the library's Parent Workroom.
The library is also a social center at school. During the year we host many events including visiting authors and illustrators, and storytellers, as well as student performances. Frequently a school event will end with a reception here, and it is also a place to find student work on display.
