River Oaks Baptist School was founded in 1955 as a mission of River Oaks Baptist Church
and has grown into one of the premier independent schools in the Houston area. R.O.B.S. provides students a firm foundation for life—academically, morally, spiritually, socially, and physically. R.O.B.S. welcomes students and families of all backgrounds. Admission Policy. The R.O.B.S. Admission Committee seeks to enroll students who will experience success in the School’s environment and whose parents understand, support, and accept the School’s philosophy of Christian education, academic objectives, and standards as described in the R.O.B.S. Mission Statement. The School strives to enroll, retain, and support a well-qualified student body that is culturally, ethnically, and socio-economically diverse.
